man bob james is a ffcking genius. People front on him, but almost everything he's ever put out or been on has been fire. Check out Idirs Muhammad's power of soul for evidence. the man can solo and arrange and compose. I got nothing but praise for him. Even 3, 4, -- its all good in the Bob James way. He's kind of like a talneted Paul Schaffer on the David Letterman show.

Check out a song called Carribean Nights if u have it...intro used by redman for Cant wait....very obvious in its use but nice all the same!

no doubting his talent and impact but most of his album have a tonal quality that dont appeal to me.

He did the music for "Taxi", but did he do any other soundtracks? I was thinking "Hill Street Blues" was him, but that was Mike Post.

Yo humble I was feelin those posts...I've been having some problems with the .rar files. If you could winzip those joints instead that would be tight.

Hope you can hook us up. I'm just getting my education and I need some Bob James in my collection. I'm just waiting for that day I find some of his ish in a dollar bin.

Yo humble...I'm feelin you on that ultility belt ish. My problem is right now I'm rockin a G3 with a busted ass 8.6 operating system. But I'm hyped cause I'm get my new G5 within the month. I'll be on some superhero izm real soon. Anyways that .zip file would be lovely to tie me over for the time being. Your hard work is much appreciated to this cat.

My favourite Bob James joint has been El Verano from BJ4 for a hot minute now. It was sampled on Masta Ace's NY Confidential. It's a hot ass track.
