Never Gonna Give You Up???????

I recently heard the original by Jerry Butler and it reminded me of a song that used it. I checked the-breaks.com, but didnt see what I was looking for. It was sampled in a song recently, but I don't know what artist used the beat nor do I know who produced it for that matter. Holla back if you know.

i aint check that breaks list but i know that was used in that diamond d song about weed, the one on his 2nd album hatred passions etc.. it also had sadat x in it, i forgot the exact title but theres a funny skit in the intro.

Did Nottz use that sample for DMP's "Don't Wanna Give That Up" (also about weed)?

Not sure, but that was a lot more recent than that Diamond ish.

2002 or 2003 or somthin like that.

Speaking of which, I just copped a OG Hatred, Passions & Infidelity LP. I collect DITC sh*t so that's made my day.

Word, that album is definitely underrated, the first couple of tracks on there are classics, espcially that song "Flowin". What it was, I think he put a couple songs that were kinda corny ("Cant Keep my Grands", "Milk and Honey") so people slept all over the album. But that was some of Diamonds best work no doubt.
