what up my diggin brothas and sisters if there are any of those sisters in here,
any ways heres my dilema i've been lookin for this song for many many years now , back around 80-82 my cusin made me this funk tape , i no longer have it, i can kick my self in the ass for being so stupid, anyways on this tape there was many songs from cameo, barkays,rick james,confunkshun,sos band and others,

anyways i've asked him time and time again who this was who did this song, i dont know the name of it but i remeber the vocals or chorus said lil suzy he tells me it was the barkays and it could have been on a 45 or even album cut, i also remebr it having a heavy bas guitar well the funk you kno, so i'm asking for some help from you guys to please check your barkays albums from like 79-82 ;if you guys have any and see if theres a song on there that says that or has lyrics that say some thing like that, i'm lookin for this album if you guys can give me a name to dig for or what 45 to digg for. i appreciate it.
i've looked threw my archives and i dont have it, and i've looked for sometime in my archives hoping that it may have slip thru or some one slipt it in there yeah right huh fellas
any ways does anyone kno where i can see all the bakays discog

I thought you were going to be asking about the track they did in the early '80s called "Sexomatic", which was all Fairlight stabs & synth bass. A great electro track but it didn't sound anything like the Barkays.

Have you checked their listing on Amazon?

The only thing I can think of with those lyrics is, obviously, The Everly Brothers "Wake Up Little Susie" but you aren't going to confuse that with early 80s funk

, man i've been searching for this song for ever , you ever wish you can go back in time with the knoledge you have now. i would have put that tape in asafer place than i did as a kid.

the only other other thing is that it's a flip side to a 45 , like prince's irresitable ****. cant find that either thats a flip side too.

u might be in luck...i got a few BarKays LPS but ur gonna have to let me know the name of the track...cant remember the little suzie thing ya on about it.
my fav track is that one where they go "UGH!"

not sure the name of it thats why i'm askin for some help, this tape didnt have a playlist, i just remeber thats was what it said in the song , but i'm not sure ,like i said it was around 79- 82, so if you got albums around there i would appreciate if you can scan thru the tracks and see if theres a song that has something like this , i've been trying to Download barkays tracks but i can seem to find it, i have a few barkays albums too but none of them are it, if you got it let me kno the name of the album and the track so i can find it some where on the net

yeah i know who little richard is but no thats not it , this was a song from 82 funked out still the song was called lil suzy and the group was OZONE been lookin for it since i was 12 in 82 dope song tho
