got like 20-30 records but half of thme were shattered..

only thing is these one's are smaller then the one's i'm used to? n they brittle as buck... was cleanin one wit a wet rag n the thing snapped in half on me..

78s Are Made From A Different type OF Polymer than Other Records this Material is NOT FELXIBLE AT All....................................

U Can Find Cool Stuff At Time ON 78s Also But Don't Bend or Flap These At All They WILL SNAP!!!!!!!!!!

Really old 78s are made of shellac.

foock really? Shellac comes from the excretions of the lac beetle from India and other places i can't remember. Never knew my 78's were made of the same beetle sh!t i coated my wooden doors in

Some are also made out of acetate. But anyway, Phabs, you can sample them at 45 then double the pitch and it'll sound close enough to what it's supposed to sound like. DON"T CLEAN THOSE WITH ALCOHOL!!!!!!!!! Or an strong chemical cleaners. Most of those places that sell vinyl care products sell stuff to clean shellac 78's. I clean mine with soap and water and lay it on a towel on a table and wipe it, and even then I break 'em half the time.
