is this turntable right for me.. plz help! for sampling!

sup everybody. i am new to the these forums (this is just my second post). now my question is:

1. i am a noob to sampling from vinyl. can i just buy any turntable to use for sampling?

2. when buying a turntable for sampling is there anything in particular i should look for?

3. i was looking to get either a numark pt-01 (or a vestax handy trax). would these turntable do fine when used for sampling?

honestly though, i am leaning towards the numark pt-01 cuz it has a built-in phono preamp which means i can plug it in straight into my s950 (soon to get) w/o the need of buying either a phono preamp or a regular dj mixer (so i save money).. but honestly give me your guys opinions... (should i just save for a technics 1200?)

Theres' no need to spend the money on something like a 1200 if all you're doing is sampling. Quite a few people are now just using they're portable tables to sample from.
Don't be thinking you might get the odd scratch or two on those numark/vestax turns, though.
If you can afford it, it might be worth just getting a technics and be done with it. That way you've got a solid deck and won't have to worry about getting another turntable down the track for a long, long time. But it isn't necessary at all.

i use my pt-01. it works...and gets the job done.
i had a fischer price at one tme, worked well, too.

the fact is, the table is like....your gateway. all its doing is gettin the simple sample from point a to point b. the major part of youjr sampling is gonna be POST turntable (ie compression, mixing, eqing, etc)...so as long as you hear and like the way your table sounds, you're straight...

im on my way to gettin some 1200s cuz ima be a dj sometime very soon...but thats besides the point...
