I'm not really a digger.

Down here in Dallas, Texas they have this thing called "FreeCycle". It's were people can get rid of unwanted things. You can ask for stuff too!

So I was like let me try this...I asked if anyone was getting rid of any old records "Vinyl". I got one hit.

This lady was like, " I have a 100 or more records." I was like cool.

So I picked them up today and they were in real good shape! I haven't had a chance to go through them all, but I saw Jim Nabors! I was like HELL YEAH! There is going to be a gold mine in here.

One thing though...I saw a type of record I haven't seen before. These were thick as hell! It was vinyl though.

Anyone know what it is?

I got a vinyl like that. They are like 3 times as thick as regular records right? I don't remember what the name of it is but I know it was one of those story type (talking) records.

You're right...she mentioned that in her email.

I didn't have to pay nothing...just a 40 minute drive!

Not a huge market...only videophiles. Apparrently there is really cool stuff only available on LVD. I think I remember LVD is supposed to have a higher resolution (better picture) than DVD. They damn well better. They are the size of LP's and are double sided just like them.

Laser Discs are the sh!t. They KILL DVD quality, and they're older. MY bot has a si Akiri laser disc. You can still cop players. Hit up eBay.
