For the most part you did pretty good. Lot of good stuff in there. You got a decent load for $50. Of course there are some joints there that you could do without I'm sure, but that's part of the process and is to be expected.

Keep digging! Your def., headed in the right direction.

You may find that the more '80s jazz and r&b records like the Yellojackets, and Who's Zoomin Who contain cheesier sounds and production compared to some of the other stuff you got.

But, it's all personal taste really.

I rarely buy anything from the '80s just looking for samples.
But I have tons of '80s stuff just for listening (hiphop, freestyle, electro, new-wave, metal.)
