Man, I just got my hands on an OG pressing, promo copy of
Roy Ayers Ubiquitiy - "He's Coming" -- for FREE!

A few years ago I had gone to a party at my friend's (dead) uncle's cabin.
I saw that Roy Ayers record in a pile of shtty vinyl at the cabin. At the
time, I didn't want to ask for it, or jack it, cause I just met him, and
his new wife was a good friend of mine.

Now a few years later, we're pretty tight bros.....so when he said he was going up to
"the cabin", I asked him if he would snake that record for me.
He said, no problem, nobody will miss it.

So he snagged it, mailed it, and I just got it today. Near mint condition.

This piece is pretty damn hard to find, and expensive once you do find it.

Thanks EDE,
I know it's just one record........but it's one of those ones that I've been trying to find for days.
I've actually never even seen an original in person before besides this one.
And shtt, nothing beats free.

Nah, it's not a house label. They put out soul/funk/acid jazz/latin/hiphop flavors. I have a few things on the label....including the (DJ)NOBODY stuff - good shtt.

The label was started by the same guys as the world famous GROOVE MERCHANT Record Store in S.F.
(A diggers paradise....if you have the money and the knowledge)

There's a new release on Ubiquity - a MC/Producer called Omega Watts......I've heard nothing but good things about it. It's supposed to appeal to people who love the 'golden era' of hiphop.
