That's great mang!
What I hate is when someone you know has like a jackpot of records...and not turntable so essentially they're just sitting. And when you ask them if you can look through them or what not they always say no...
C'mon, give em up so they can actually be appreciated...
But I understand the logic...

thats why the first thing out of my mouth is" i'll give this much " or "how much you want for those records i'll pay you d=good money" if theres stuff in there you want sh!t it's worth it.

i've paid 7 bucks for a lot of 35 records that i didnt even want but i just wanted the rack that was holdin them an ill 60's record holder the lot ended up being some elvis presley with i dont like and never listen too so i'm trying to sell them off to make more room in my archives.
but i got an ill record rack from the 60's....

let me tell u a **** up story. my dad owns a furniture store.. one day i came by after work and there were 30+ boxes of records next to the dumpster. some customer they delivered furtniture to begged them to take the boxes away and throw them out.

obviously i flipped out, packed my car full of like 20+ boxes (i couldnt take all of them).. I search maybe through half of them. I moved to LA for like 8 months. I come back to NY , and the boxes were gone. my mom gave them away to some **** sprinkler guy that said he wanted them and he **** took them all..
