i just stay away from record stores. i shop at thrift shops, antique shops, yard sales, garage sales, etc...

first place i went for records- a record store $3.25 on avg for a record and low as $1.25 second place- salvation army $1 a record and $5 for record books *u know them big orchestra sets-theres a ton of samples on those but its too much work *almost everything can be sampled in them shits* 3rd place i went-book store low as $.95 a record i forgot to check the 45's they had tho most i spent there was $5 on a record dont know why it was so expensive but somethin told me to get it so i did...in a couple weeks ima check another book store and go back to salvation army

sucks that winter lasts so long here theres only yard sales/garage sales for about 3 months outta the year

oh yeh also went to this antique shop they only got about 50 records and 200 45's i bought about 5 or 6 45's from em and jacked the 45 adapter off some bob dylan record and put it on another one cuz i lost my original 45 adapter lol bob dylan u cant really sample off of *from what i heard so far*

I've got a mate who's dad collects old records from old people and gives them to charity shops. One day last year he gave me a whole stack of 500+ records for free that he'd had in his garage for years.

Some real wicked gems like the "Goonies R Good Enough" 45 by Cyndi Lauper!!! OK, so maybe a tad of the fromage with some of them records, but still, when you're getting dark plastic for free, it tastes and smells and sounds a whole lot better.

Do you know whether that Chuck Mangione record you got has "Hill Where The Lord Hides" on it? If so, that record is worth stupid money, aight?!

Yo toon the moulins/libraries are even more scarce out here! We have pretty much any leo sayer/101 strings record(s) you could hope for though so bring some extra loot..
