what do u do when u hear that perfect hit/loop?

i usually laugh and spazz out for a second and keep playin it over lol try to get someone else in the crib to hear it

sample it sit back and enjoy it , and wonder what i can layer on top of it

yeah, usually i start throwing ideas in my head on how i can fill out the loop..the right drums, or if i should add synths atop of it.

but most of the time, i don't flip out on the loops..i flip out on the weirdest sound on the record.

I give the record some man on record love. Then I sample.

Gently fondle it.....

i start to pray that no one else finds it or used it before me!

Yep, cause that G is sometimes lost in the process.

Needle drop it again,then again, sometimes even again, then hit the samps, tha loops, that sequence, tha layer of that sequence, another sefquence...t'ill its a song

I Bring it from wax to Wavelab and i listen to it over and over and beatbox in my head. Then when im comfortable with it, i lay it down.
