New York Digging Spots and Pawn Shops

Living right outside of Queens right now (Hempstead, NY), but I'm back in Philly for winter break. Anyone know of any good, cheap places to dig in New York? I've read about a few on here, but I'd like to get a nice long thread going.

Also, if anyone knows any good instrument pawn/trade shops in NYC let me know. There are certainly quite a few in Queens.
