Talk and share knowledge on rare records, sources of new samples, vinyl, diggin, etc

I don't. Most of my records cost less than $2 each, and even then I get breakdowns in price every now and then because I buy 20-30 records at a time.

I don't like the practice because a lot of cats switch up covers, or stick two records in one cover. This practice **** it up for the diggers in the long run because now a once good piece of vinyl is coverless and probably scratched up from not being in its own sleeve.

plus, thieverly is plain dishonorable, and I'd rather be thought of as a fool than as a thief. At least you can trust a fool.

I dont switch up covers or stick two records in one case. I find that to be such a tease especially when u have a record only to find out the record isn't in there. I flat out steal the record. I guess I'm the only dirtbag on this website.

I'll put two in one sleeve if I find one I want, and there's no sleeve to go with it at the thrift store. I never just take the record, and leave the sleeve. You better hope I don't see you doing it either!

what you gonna do? I hope snitching isnt your answer....but oh well some cats just swing that way

and the sad thing about thieves is that they believe that cats who don't steal are lames....picture that

I can't lie,

I have done although I didn't set out to. I was in a private shop and the owner was one "stuck up lickle so n so", I was being an opportunist rather than a straight up thief.

I’ve got a nice little local now who sort me out with 10 LPs for a pound/ 10p each. They’re a charity shop and wouldn’t dream of lifting anything from them, I get a proper welcome when I walk in cos they know I’m about to clean them out.

“Rago”… I’d probably go into one if I saw someone switching cases, I’ve been on the receiving end of that nuff times.
