I pass up james brown records all the time when I am digging. I don't even consider buying them.

It's not like I don't want em, just look at those goddamn prices!!!
30, 40 for an obscure unknown lp? why not? for a plain jb lp everyone and their grandma has in the shelf? :roll:

damn you guys 's be trippin i know he's been sampled and played to death but still to have JB in your collection is a must .even if you dont listen to him,thats hiphop man ,i wish i could see stuff of his anywhere i dont care what it is i'll pick it up, as the matter fact i pick up one i see for the first time,in like 30 years of diggin i aint never seena JB record and i tell you if i did i would buy it and i did just that, it has a really nice breaak in there. but yeah i guess it's your prefence, i dont know to many cats in the US that would pass on a JB record, i know i dont.


yeah i had for got about that unity record i have that too i just cop'd that a few months ago and i have played it on the radio but havent reall mess'd with the acap.
yeah there some stuff that steady B sampled for believe me das bad track.

I do. Prices are way high. For **** reissues and shit. **** that. I mean, I want em but I ain't got the dough right now to be buyin some of that real expensive shit.

Had to dig deep but I pretty much found what I was looking for.
