there is this station they play at my work with no commercials that plays only the originals of heavily sampled songs. Masta Ace the INC ride, this one 2live crew that is an earth wind fire, I heard the Bassline for Eric b. & rakim Paid in full. the rest of the song is different they just used the bassline, and many more.
I really need to shut off the cable tv and hook up this satelite radio. I know at least one of these gotta have a 60'70's soul funk etc. you would be shure to find drum kits.
I would just record a whole song at a time to cd or minidisk then if its wack erase it.
i mean you cant scratch those samples but thats what vocal/dj rectangle etc etc is for.
anyone doing this?
