What is the squeeling horn that plays throughout Public Enemy "Don't Believe The Hype"?

Is it a horn sample or is it manipulation of the turntable and what sound is it if he is manipulating it with the turntable?

Thanks

Isn't it the same "kettle" noise as they used in "Rebel Without A Pause" but just slowed down a bit. It is the intro to "The Grunt" by the JBs ..... the actual sound is probably Maceo Parker blowing really hard into his sax so it
distorts.
