Anyone have some Spoken Word Wavs for DJ Purposes?

Hey Guys,

I was making another Mix CD. And Im trying to incorporate some more Spoken word into it. Basically just looking for some spoken word stuff like shout outs, obscure ish and all that.. I got the old spoken word gil scott herron record from http://alma-matters.blogspot.com/ which is a really nice site for some good blaxploitation vinyl if you are into that.

Well, if you guys know of any sites or what not lemme know.

I like doing that a lot. Taking snippets of people talking from VHS, DVD, TV, or other recordings and putting it in a beat and making it mean something else.

I made a beat with this sample from this thing from the 40s. A girl is talking about a gang trying to get records she has. She isn't talking about music she's talking about paper records but the way I chopped it and put it on the music you'd think she's talking about a gang that collects vinyl.

YOU GOTTA FIND IT YOURSELF!! Isn't that the fun part anyway?

I just picked up a lp from '69 of a doctor talking about meditation. Its dope, heaps of quotables, but im keeping that for something like the muggs/jza shit with the chess theme.

I had a feeling i was going to get that reply...
