San Diego Diggin

Yo I'll be in San Diego from the 19th to the 23rd. Gonna drive down with some friends to go to the International Comic-Con. I'll spend most of my time there but if anyone knows a cool record spot there I'd like to check it out.

Any spots reasonably close to the San Diego Convention Center or surrounding area? I don't want to go too far.

Are you driving? Is so, you should stop in Hollywood and hit up Amoeba. In Carlsbad, theirs a place called Spin Records that cool. In Encinitas, you should hit up Lou's. Im not sure about in San Diego though...

hit up lou's records in encintas a few blocks off the beach when i lived down there that was a hot spot still may be , but check it out for sure.it actully near san diego like 25 min away man a far as other shops theres a few in escondido which is off the 15 and 78 can rember the name but i think it was off mission st over there i think and that dude had some nice stuff but pricey. as far as down town not sure these are in north county of SDO but good digg spots as i can rember. just look in the book and see what you can find . they dont spin much wax down there any more, i tryed to spin out there about five yrs ago and they had no places that had TT only cdj and you know i dont spin that shi+.

EDE, are you driving distance from SD?

about a day trip away it's about 500 miles maybe less i live in SF bay area this has been my house always but i moved to SD for three yrs and tried out the dj thig there but i was to advanced for them they did kno what classic music was at the time i was playing it back in 90 i would play original breaks with sampled songs and they were didnt get it , so i came back home .

Yep we're driving and I think we were planning to hit up Hollywood.
