i hear you on that! most of the samples are amazingly flipped tho. they come of as straight loops but he put a swing in them joints... pfew... uncanny! to me the most incredible flip is the 'waves' donut where he samples the 'johnny don't do it' (2nd tune in the mix)... i'm practicly bald from scratching my head tryin' to figure that one out... not even close to a clue! anyway, thx to all the heads that took some time out listening to the mix & thx for the love on my beats also. 1

As i listen to the original songs, im starting to realize that alot of those songs are just average songs - nothing mindblowing bout them...

although, to take those songs..and turn them into great songs...without even changing the melody or ostinatos of the songs, is a true testament to dillas production skills!
