HOW COME EVERYBODY WANNA RAP BUT DONT NOBODY WANNA PAY FOR BEATS!!! I'M TELLIN THESE BROKE @SS RAPPER I'LL SELL BEATS FOR LIKE 50 BUCKS AND THEY ACTING LIKE THAT'S TO MUCH!!! I'M SICK AND TIRED OF THIS BS!!!! I FELL LIKE MY TIME SPENT MAKIN THESE BEATS IS WORTH MORE THAN 50 BUCKS!!! WHAT'S GOOD WHAT YA'LL THINK?

Where in an age where there are many options for rappers to get free beats or decent 10 dollar beats man. Just keep making tracks for you and something will pan out. I personally don't sell beats. I just put an ad on my soundclick to sell some, but I usually don't charge. I'd rather give a beat away to someone I respect than sell one to someone I don't. Thats me though,

Hahahah i feel u bro on the emcees who want free beats... as mentioned tho its jus as much your rep as the rappers, equal responsibility... to get the ball rollin shot off free beats to promisin peeps, you'll be doin each other a favour.. its a much your responsibility as it is theirs to make sure it gets play - i never jus let one of my beats go i always work with the dudes cus no one will understand the workin's of the beat like you... seeing as u **** with beats im sure u must know how to record to a decent quality so work with em... if any doe is made from the track split it 50/50. Your beats are prolly dope but its best to stay humble til you see the doe rollin... then you can start chargin mans.

treat your beat like ur kid haha.. the final mixdown like their 18th birthday then kick the mofo out haha... make sure the kid tells everyone u the daddy.

We are living in a time where there are far more talented beat makers than rhyme sayers, I go back far enough to remember when it was the total opposite.

It's easier to come across someone with hot tracks these days but a hot flow is much harder to find.

This is more like a vent but i must stand up for the beatmakers.

The sad thing about the "broke rapper" who never has money for beats is he's really not that broke, he"s just not as dedicated to the art as the beatmaker who has proved his dedication even if all he owns is an MPC, turntable and track machine. He has easily put well over $1,200 plus into his craft and thats for used s***.

The so called rapper spends all his money looking like an established rapper instead of putting the work and money into becoming one.

How many rappers have you beatmakers come accross who dont have money for tracks but always got weed money, going to the club money, new outfit money and rims on the car money with the bad engine money? And dont forget about the 3 and 4 hundred dollar got it at the flea market jewelry money. All you beat makers know how many valuable upgrades can be made to your setup with that kind of money.

What about the rapper who spits a flow about being a gansta or a pimp but cant buy a beat. imagine being a pimp who aint got a *** working the street worth $50.
I know a few real gansta type cats from around my old hood and the only time they aint makin money is when they locked up or dead. Tha motto of these people is "rob, steal or kill the bill gets made". Now ask yourself, are you really a gangsta?

Let me end this by saying, i purchased my first MPC60 in the early 90's for over $2,300 by selling drugs to the addicts and dreams to the girls. I'm not proud of it, suggesting that anybody do it or bragging about it, im just saying if you want it you got to go get it. "Dont talk about it be about it."
