ReCorD Dealers F em

I spent 50 bucks today for about 15 records which I won't tell you because I know I got cheated. The diggin scene in VA is so weak the few dealers can change what they want and hit people over the head. The lady also had the nerve to ask me about what has good samples on it . I gotta find a new spot to dig. Its a spot up near DC that has 50 cent bins for days, but its a 3 hour trip. They go off what they see on ebay and there pricing guides on what to charge. The sad part is it was a guy who was hip to the diggin scene and would still only charge 3 bucks for something you knew had beats on them as long as you made it through his spot 3 times a months. I hate record dealers

diggin is a passion...if u gots to drive 3 hours then you gots to drive 3 hours.....bout once maybe twice a month i go about 2 hours to digg at a couple other spots.....its what i do....i dont mind the 2 hours drive with some good company....ie...music, buds, shroomz..pillz.....

i drive 3 hours out to the desert to get the goods(less diggers out there,
plus way cheaper prices:)
i got a spot on the coast,too(hint: Manzanitas).
i go to bed early to catch them worms:):)

So basically you're complaining about having payed 3$ per record on average, or what?

i think this is due to the fact that the guy probably caters to the older people who acutally collect pieces worth more money..

thiers a shop down here that got og blue notes and og ECM records but that dude charges up the ass because its not for your typical digger, more for the hardcore collector..

roll up something phat and take the 3 hour drive

every weekend i go on an hour drive to hit this spot i have been diggin at for the last month.just yesterday i spent an hour on the road to only be there10- 15 min max... i gave this guy my list and he has them for me every weekend i just call him up and i get a total and i'm off to pick them up....plus i hit up the rest of the store a digg around and i usually spen around 100 bucks at this place maybe more.



i dont get it there's cats that call them self crate digger's but they only shop at one shop ...thats not diggin to me that supporting your local shop... which is cool but but if you want other music then what your after you need to get out and really digg.

get at me if you want some records..... i'll dig them for you and you pay the shippin and cost of the record.i'll give you good prices.

Look for estate sales.....
