the hook sounds like a song I heard of before, but maybe he did it himself. It almost sounds like a 70s - 80s feel to it.

the neputnes are known for taking old songs and replaying the chords or transposing them and changing up things so they don't have to pay sample clearances. Good trick to learn. They may not be able to get that exact feel, but they can come close to the sound.
