Cleaning vinyl covers

Sup yall, I just came across two crates of vinyl from a relative's house, but these things are FILTHY! They've been sitting for at least 10 years in a shed where they've been infested by dust, dirt, spiders, and possibly rat droppings. I've got the records in plastic bags in my garage, but i'm scared to bring them in the house because these things are a mess.

...Soooo my question to you is, how do you clean the vinyl covers? I've tried using ethanol (alcohol) on covers but I notice that it kinda fades the picture and leaves streaks of discoloration. Is there some way I can clean the cover with doing too much damage to it? I'll wipe em all down with a sh!tload of ethanol if I have to, but I would prefer to keep the covers looking as good as possible.

as far as covers go .... you just need to spray a towel not to moist and wipe down the the dirt, just move quick cause the slower you are the faster the cover will not look OG ...if there really moldy your fuct just warp it and put in plastic just to have it, but if you can clean it wipe it down good make it look decent and then put it plastic so it dont get fuct more. if thee's some mold use some lysol spray and sray the inside.

wipe it down fisrt and clean it out try not to rip the cover then spray lysol to stop the mold from grown any more then put a new sleeve init let dry of course before puttin your record back in it.
