I know the internet is bomb and all that.. but I dun been lookin for this joint for over a year now... it come to the point i'm so desperate that rather then keep it to my self i'ma ask ya for help?

But basically it took me a mad minute to find out who it was..call after call to various radio stations and internet searchin, finally a FRIEND of a FRIEND thru the help of the lyrics and i got it... but now I dun been lookin thru the crates for a year now and cd stores and internet and i can't find this song anywhere...

or maybe my dig game is weak..

but here it is...

Dusty and TOM SPRINGFIELD - MORNING PLEASE DON'T COME

and nah don't get it twised i'm not lookin for the joint that Dusty did herself i'm lookin for the DUET she did wit her brother THomas.. a while back i found an album cover online with a discography provin it do exist on a Tom SPringfield album but i can't find it...

i checked cd stores, interent and even like the limeware and all that p2p ish.. NOTHING..

so i'm curious what yall do when its a gem out there you want/need and you can't "get" it..

be eaZy

p.s. I done also looked up this joint by a producer named Self he did a joint for sticky fingas #2 on the album called Come ON, i was lookin for the intro sample from that song it sould like a dope soul joint.. it goes DO YOU FEEL THE WAY I FEEL!!!! ahhhh so iLL gives me shivers yo..

Thats just the way it is.. some times u can be searchin high and low for sh!t.. even searchin other countrys, but when its like that ur usually gonna stumble across it when u least expect.. dont worry urself too much about that sh!t coz theres plenty of other dope sh!t just as good and better to be found

Haven't heard this track mentioned in years, the duet version was on a single whereas the alternate version was from his album Love's Philosophy which is the version you may not want. I had the single in my first beats collection many years ago, I still know the guy who has all those beats when i sold them so i'll give him a call..

Sit back n chill there's plenty more out there ta fill ya ears till this one becomes part of your collection... Damn I still have tracks listed in my beats book that have still not been found or used that i've jotted down over the last 20+ years of beat diggin but i know i'll come across them in time

yo ede... i LOVE 40's records.. one of main things i dig for quite alot.. real dope melody bits usually on intros of tracks (some times real intense string openings that make for bangers) (and lil bits between vocals etc).

If these records get given away for free.. if i paid shippin and maybe a lil extra on top any way ud ship some to ny for me?

good lookin on all the tidbits and info..

1. what is a beats book?

2. in essense the version i'm lookin for is a male voice singin the hook but remember i only caught a lil bit of it on some net clip like a year go and since i have the dusty springfield version (where its jus her) i know that aint' the one..

3. anyone got any info on that sticky joint? all i was able to find out is that its produced by somebody named SELF but i can't find nothing on that dude, he done a lot too, stuff for heltah skeltah and venni, vetti, vato and for J.O.S.E. but it don't look like dude got a page or anthing...

thats exactly how i would like to be, be in the industry makin your moves but on the low underground, like YOUR out there enought that you support you and yours with the music makin but yet n still on some top secret ish that ONLY people in the industry know about you.... feel me?

again props on the info!

yo i wonder if its sight out there that lists discogrphy's and that it lists who makes what... basically like an ONLINE cd booklet page.. ya get me?

LOL thats my wording for my little black book where I jot down things (tracks/LP/breaks/samples/info etc) so I can reference to it as I go, i've been using the same two books since I started beat finding over 20 yrs ago so you can imagine some of the info LOL.... still got the same scruffy writing n all

That'll be the 45 single version then that you need (released on Philips here in the UK) rather than his solo LP.....

DJ e.d.e posted a couple of great links worth checkin for the 45 and also the dusty springfield Love Songs comp where its featured too (theres also a sound clip on there)

Google is ya friend for much info to your other question
