I stopped at a local spot on the way home from work. Found these for 4 bucks a pop. I am trying to up my Black Jazz and Strata East collection.

They are actually much better than I thought. I knew about the Black Jazz label but I never see any of the records cheap, so I never buy them. I was only going to get a couple but I would have been pissed if I liked them and went back to the store and the others were gone.

They have a lot of old Tribe type samples. Nice funky, spiritual, righteous jazz.

I am well pleased with the purchase. I saw on Ebay that the Gene Russell just went for $104 and the Kellee Patterson for $75.

def NICE purchase then thats always a plus when you buy and it worth more money then you spent

haven't seen a few of those joints since way back when i was mad buying,

That Adams Apple LP has some great pieces and is one of my personal faves, there's always something to be found on a Doug Carn LP....same with the Shawn-Neeq album loads of pieces to play with.
