Abel Sanchez

So I've had this record, by a band called Abel, led by a guy named Abel Sanchez. Maybe it's not a group and it's just him playing with other guys.

Anyway, the record is called "Please World". Fantasy Records 8404. Mine says it's a promotional copy.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHO THIS IS?

It's not an amazing LP or anything, but the fact that I can't find any information about this dude is making me really interested in it. I'm assuming the record is a little rare. I've seen it going for up to $100. Got mine for 50 cents at a thrift shop.

Anyway, I'd just like some info about this guy/group. Maybe some other records they might have done. Maybe someoe here knows?

Don't know for sure if that's the same person but it might be. This record I have is on Fantasy and I know that label was founded in SF and used to be in Berkeley for a while. So maybe this dude's local.

Just found out DJ Shadow sampled the break on the record too...

I'm anxious to hear this now. i think i got some of him but i'm not sure it's the same guy. i think what i got is german or spanish music.
