Getting rid of my records...

I am moving to San Francisco August 1st. I need to sell/trash a bunch of my things in order to move (efficiently).

I am only going to keep a small amount of records. The true gems i had found by pure luck, bought in france, or paid 20+ dollars for. Only those I will keep... but there are hundreds more. A samplers dream, all records personally dug out of Boston by me. I haven't counted or taken pictures (yet), but theres about 5 of those huge rubbermaid trunk size containers worth. Over 15 crates. No classical junk, no box set junk, no singles. I even have a few boxes of 45's I'd throw in for free.

So Im going to try to sell this on craigslist or ebay locally... what kinda price should I get? A friend was willing to pay 10 cents for each record... I just wanna get rid of all of it for a few hundred tops. Lemme know what you guys think... THANKS EVERYONE!

Well its alright, I wouldnt say good. Theres like one good spot but everythings like $10+ and theres no dollor bin. But I guess the thrift stores have some good stuff. You can find some pretty decent sh!t from Saint Vincent DePaul for like 5 Records for a buck.

Sorry bros... I am only selling the whole set at once, not seperate records! And it would really be local pickup only. Definitely not shipping this massive lot.

The genres are all equally rock (60's-80's), psych rock (60's-70's), soft rock (like barbara streisand, etc... mostly 70's and some 80's), television themes (50's-80's), movie themes and full soundtracks (50's-90's), funk and soul (70's). Just a bunch of stuff that I've looked for samples on. Stuff you would pick out of the bin for cheap, and days that I bought a big stack from the top bins in the store. The prices range from 50 cents, to 10.99. And a lot of the records I found for 50 cents were like old jackson 5 records, or something else hot. Boston has a lot of places to dig for... I even got won some lots off ebay that would be included. Even a few boxes of 45's singles including stevie wonder, etc... its all gotta go. Lemme know if you have a good offer:

Yeah, you'd be better off buying them all. I am going to count them before this weekend... And I'll take pictures of them too. Then you guys that are interested here, will have first dibs as opposed to the ebay'ers and craigslist'ers. I have had some emails too...
