Does anyone have the 808 kicks, with the long decay, sampled from a DR-660 or DR-770? If so, I have samples of vintage, unprocessed, for trade.
Here's some of the samples I have...
Oberhiem DMX
TR 606, 707, 727, 808, 909
Emu SP-12
Simmons
Dr. Rythym DR 110, 220a, 550, 550mkII
Alesis HR-16
This is all I can think of right now. I could post them to rapidshare in a blink of an eye. I did try to compress, timestrech and other processes to get that long sound. Yet, though it sounded right within the programs I used on my iBook, when I exported the sounds, they were very distorted. Here's a list of the program I tried to use, maybe one of you could help me. Thanks in advance.
Programs I Used...
Apple Soundtrack Pro - used the multipressor, limiter, compressor
Spark Me - used the same effects as above
Amazing Slow Downer X - timestretched without changing pitch, distorted the attack
BTW, do you think I would have done better with a hardware compressor/limiter? Thanks again!!!
