Right . . . .

the best way I can describe it is uptempo soul mostlty from the early to mid 70's.

It came by that tag cos loads of soul weekenders used to happen in Wigan (you're a UK head, you know where Wigan is, right? ) and LOTS of cats dug the faster tempos for jazz style dancing basically coz it was more geared for a nightclub than the 'regular' stuff(You know!) that was aboutat the time.

I got a feew bits andpieces that are classed as northern but to be honest, noteverything thats lumped in that genre is the same style of soul if you get my drift.

I'll have a look about ad see what else I can come up with for ya.

But not tonight, coz i'm 33 today, I'm typing this whist drunk and it's eating into drinking time.

So . . . . I'm audi for know

Peace

it's flip sides that was to oldies that came out of detroit chicago area from mid 60's to mid 70's .
the labels are rare labels that cost mega bucks.

most people in the 90's think it's a certain sound which it is but it was a sound of underground, a modern soul sound, usually having a realy nice drum break like a classic break sound.
