i just recieved my copy of the coup's 1994 album genocide and juice. i had to order it from japan. i just realized that 1/2 of the 1st side is edited. i mean they cleaned up cusswords. i havent even gotten to the b side yet. and i remember having the cd when it came out and it wasnt edited.

now im listening to the b side and at least the 1st track is not edited. does this mean that this is a bootleg? it didnt even come with the cover with the absolut bottle on it. so im wondering if i got stuck and need to keep looking for an original.

thanks

you can't go wrong on OG parts, when you diggin the vinyl !

thats why i dont like to buy from the net to much.you need to read and ask alot of questions,

you can't beat crate dig'in in the store!

yeah, i agree. but i couldnt find that album anywhere here. i think it is the og though because i saw a few other vendors selling the same print with the same sleeve. but then i guess they couldve gotten a hold of a bootleg version too. oh well, i will buy it again if i see it.
