Cool. That Sir Lord Baltimore album in particular sounds like it might be good.
I don't make enough to pay $50+ for one record, but I bet people will still shell out cash for the originals. A lot of original pressings of rare records that have been reissued on vinyl still go for pretty high prices.

Yup Yup people will still be buying wax cos nothing sounds quiet like it. Places like that just mean more stuff to sample.

digital and anolog is matter of choice here...i MUCH perffer ANOLOG.

a VIRTUAL file wont last for ever,a RECORD(vinyl) will.

i aint worried about it.

all i know is im glad theyre doing this, the mp3s are at 320kbps to - and theyll sound better - remember the original recordings are still analog, you just losing the scrathcings and hiss of the vinyl which is better for sampling.

you lose frequency on it ,

AND once 320kbps
GOES out whats goin to happen to it then it will be come trash like every other MP3 before that one.

vinyl sounds GREAT. static ? what static ,i got records that are 50 yrs old or older ...that dont have static on them.

most time's if you hear static is because your needles thru or your not grounded properly. peoples hearing is being destroyed from digital hearing

thats good shht but I dont think downloaded mp3's will make physical vinyl worth any less money. especially cause the folks who really listen and buy this music are collectors and mp3's have NO re sail value whats so ever.

this will not affect the rare vinyl market in the least. anyone who would rather have MP3s of the album [rather than the LP] would have never paid over $10 for the record anyway... 'cause they're cheap like that. just sayin. dudes who are out there scooping up rare LPs for $500 n such are not gonna stop and download it instead. they only **** with records.

matter of fact, in some cases an album getting repressed can bring more attention to the release and therefore raise the demand of the original LP format since more people will know of it's existence and know that it's a collector's item worth $$$... and this actually boosts the price even higher.

It's way good if you like rock. It's the only record I recognize off that list. I wouldn't call it "heavy metal" though.
