4K w/Pro Tools 6.4 LE (digi001), ADAT clicks

When you go out of the MPC using ADAT you miss out on the typical
MPC sound (Except for timing) Maybe that's not quite what you're after?!


Could you elaborate? I am very close to getting the adat card for the mpc4000 and a MOTU MKii firewire device. Should I get the 8 line out card instead? Or do you have to have ears like a bat to hear the difference?

If you go out the MPC via adat you get a 'better' sound quality if you are after audiophile sound but the MPC get's a little edge if you go out analog...You really should try before buying to see what sounds best to you though!
