you can't get them yet??!! On some of the online retailers all I have seen are the blue ones, with the white ones all discontinued. It's funny cuz when I bought my white MPC for 1700, they were selling a blue MPC base model for like 2300. that's 600 for a blue paint job, 256MB RAM and a CD-R? screw that. They just use the paint job as a reason to jack up the price.

They jacked the price to make people buy the white ones so they could try to get them out of circulation.
Instead of lowering the price on the white they raised the price on the blue.
The only thing I recall the price dropping on was the MFC-42's they were $99 for dealer stock as they purged them.
The blue products are shipping so if you make a purchase ask about them, and the price should be about the same.

I would guess it's because they were thinking about those paint jobs that Forat does.
Also remember those MPC-2000SE they had with the paint jobs.

No doubt, bet "red" was probably their first choice then they decided on blue.
Just watch later people will be dying trying to find the white joints, or telling you the swing is different betweent the colors. :wink:

juke dey been advertising those blue things everywhere but I think they dish the whites regardless

I just been keeping my eyes open for someone who would be selling a White one cheap because it was old stock or discontinued.
I have seen some good 4000 deals go on eBay but know 2 guys who got burned on to ggod to be true MPC's deals on eBay.
