How to switch sample playback from note off to poly or mono?

hey im using an mpc4000. im trying to figure out how to switch the way the sounds playback from note off to mono or poly. my mpc2000xl has always had those options under shift:programs. Any help with this?

Also on my mpc2000xl under shift:programs there is a tune option to pitch shift sounds. I cant find it on the 4000 either.

change the polyphony from your program/pad. default is 64 but you can change it to 1 (mono) or anything in between.

assing a pad to a mute group.
