Syncing Fantom G as a slave with MPC 4000

Just wondering if anybody could help with with some midi. I'm running my fantom as a slave and at the beginnig of the first sequence or measure I get a pop sound. Im using midi clock on both devices. I have turned the local off on the keyboard but same results. I know there is a way around this suggestions anyone, tnx.

Why slave @ all? Why arent you sequencing with the 4000?

That's what I am doing, did'nt you read the post Syncing The fantom G as a slave with MPC 4000, my problem is there is a PAUSE at the begining of every sequence when I play the MPC 4000 in song mode using only the fantoms internal sounds, when I loop a regular two or four bar loop in sequence mode I'm not having the PAUSE only in song mode and yes I turned the local off on the fantom. So the question, how do I get rid of the PAUSE or delay at the begining of each sequence in song mode. Thanx
