Hey all!... Have tried fiddling with this for hours but can't seem to get it to work... I'll sample a break (say 4 bars) and trim it so it loops perfectly. Then go through the region process and slice it up... When i go to slice it, i want to create a sequence to play the slices so i keep the original flow of the break, however, after choosing yes to generating a sequence when slicing the sliced loop it creates always fall's short from the four bars of the seqence it creates - usually around 1 - 4th of a bar. I've tried it with different loops, different tempo, and continues to happen after 2 OS upgrades... The Sliced loop which actually loops perfectly never fits the sequence!

I've also tried rexing the breaks with recycle, then exporting all the slices, and a midi file to play them, however after creating a program with the slices, and importing the midi file as a sequence, i get similar results to when i chop it within the MPC.

Any hints as to what i might be doing wrong would be greatly appreciated!

In the trim page change the trim end to beat and set the change the bpm to the same number of beats in the loop. Next go to the region page make sure the loop is set to no loop or one shot not loop. Enter the number of slices hit do it. Go to edit page to slice samples and set gen sequence on a unused track it should sequence correctly in the same tempo track. Now you can speed it up. Also go to the misc page and make sure the sequence edit it set to loop at sequence length or something I forgot someone can add more. :D
