Hello need help.
I boot up the MPC and the screen is clearly on but is blank also all the lights are on. I had this problem a while back but cant remember the solution.
I don't use the MPC much and it has never moved?
I was also after a link for which screws to undo to get under the Hood?
Merci

Open the unit and reseat all cable connections.
I had the same issue some time ago.

Take care not to touch the PSU board!

After that, your MPC should start up.

But do you know what I just powered up and all is fine?

You still should open it up and reseat things.
There had to be a reason why it happened.

If you notice there has been a rise in the number of postings based on 4k's that won't boot.
We have always had typical reasons why they did this that were easy to fix but some lately have actually required service.

So you want to determine what's really going on with your unit to get proper resolution to your problem.

I have the same problem. I tried to reset all cables. I even revoed the CD Drive and Hard drive and attempted startup.

I then removed the PSU and swapped it out for my z8's PSU. It still hangs and my MAC OS Loader does not recognize the MPC.

Any other ideas guys? I could try replacing a part if I only knew what to replace.

Yes, VST or Forat.
