Hello all, Im a new 4k user as of last night. 
Before you flame for this post, I tried the search function over and over again for a couple hours and still havent gotten a direct answer to this problem. I even googled it. I just copped this bad baby, and the HD read unknown volume in the menu. So, I did some looking around and the best advice was to format using the mpc. So I did, or at least attempted to. I tried full format and after a hour or two I shut off the machine. I tried quick format, and now Im going on my first hour or so with the irritating "please wait" chic.. lol. Any advice would be greatly appreciated..
Or could someone plz just tell me on average how long the formatting takes?
