Keygroup length question

OK, I know I've been asking bookoo questions lately but, I'm getting into this MPC HEAVY lately...

Today's question is about Keygroups, (DUH)

I have made a few keygroups and one thing I noticed is that the higher octave I play the keygroup shortens the sample. Is there a way to keep the sample the same length but change the pitch a la 'keygroup' across the whole MIDI span?

You are using a sampler and that is how a hardware sampler works unlike a software sampler that you can customize more. Technically to do as you ask you need to basically record several long multi samples not use one sample key group. Or time stretch them individually.



On another high notes naturally sustain less and low notes longer. If you loop the sample and set the amp envelope up, then you can go into program matrix to use key scale controlling amp release to set everything up in reverse with high notes sustaining longer and low notes shorter.
