when i turn on my mpc4k the program display is blank

i had this 4 a yr now
and i turn it on and wanted to make a beat and
the program wont let me go or make a progam
i tried goin to the sample window
and its good
i can make program
but when i go back to main
[url][/url]i cant scroll thru and make changes

has this happen to any one
please say sumthing

after turning off and on it will do wat an mpc4k suppose to do
but later it haunts me
its bakkk

your memory might have went bad take it out and also check the lcd cable to make sure it is fitted
