wat does the sequence button mean rite by the qlink button
im confused someone help me

Its a function that allows you to control Internal parameters of the 4K(you need to set this to your desired parameter) via a set of 16 steps kind of like the original Analog Hardware sequencers,each step allows you to set a different value for the control you wish to alter.
there are 4-16 step sequencers in the 4k each one can affect a different parameter in the 4k,so for instance you could set the first one to affect the filter or the second to pan positioning of your Programs/Multis

Think of each sequence as having 16 Q link knobs for that particular parameter,that you can make perform in realtime along with your Main sequences mode,rather than altering them by hand you can set the steps in the sequence to a given value and let the sequence do the work for you in time,you can also change the timing divisions of the sequence 1/4 1/8 step values etc.

You use the Q-link Sequence to create a filter sweep and other effects. Very useful and simple to do, once you understand it. A forum member did a video years ago. I will do a search and see if I can find it.

That was quite useful. I can't believe I'd missed the BIG qlink sequence button needed to activate the qlink sequncer!

There is something else I'd like to know: How do you erase the qlink movements once they have been recorded into a sequence? Is there an edit list as there is for mute track on/off? Its a nice function but pretty destructive as it is only allocatable by part.

You can record over the sequence, OVER DUB, or simply turn off the effect.
