how do i stack my drums or play 2 pads at the same time

durellakiel dude, ive been reading this forum and the manual for over 2 years. never had to post a question yet.

You could use zones and the mod matrix to layer your samples and QLINK to adjust the blended samples to taste.

"First, I simply layer my samples in Program>KG>Zones.

Next I go to Zone 2 -4>Start and add different values>1000 through 2000.

Then go to edit1>Program Modulation page.

From here I set up EXT1>ZONES 2-4 START>100 DEPTH

EXT2>ZONES 2-4 TUNE>100 DEPTH

EXT3>ZONES 2-4 LEVEL>100 DEPTH

And etc for pan, filter if you wish. Finally I go to Q-LINK SETUP>Q1-Q3

PART >1

ASSIGN EACH QLINK>EXT1-EXT3

TYPE SET TO REPLACE (I have complete control),

RANGE> EXT1 controls Start>+000>+100

EXT2 controls Tune>-12>+12

EXT3 controls Level>-060>+000


Lastly record a sequence pattern and tweak your settings by ear from the main page.

One simple way is to use part 2 in main page to layer drum programs, then tweak both of them via qlinks or pad control to get the sound you want.
