Syncing MPC to Pro Tools 8

Can someone tell me what are the parameters for Syncing the MPC 4000 to Pro Tools? I have a Digi 003, the MPC is running the Digi out of Midi Out A Midi In 1. When Im in the sync menu what do I have to turn on so that the MPC can sync with Pro Tools, Im not too sure with this MPC, I just got it and I dont even know where to start.

If someone could help me out, I would most definitely appreciate it.

Damn Clint, that gets me nowhere, I am DJ Skitzophrenik, I lost my password or something to my DJ Skitzophrenik account and it wont let me sign in anymore. But good looks on the mention...that means alot.

There was never mention of what kind of sync you're looking for?

Clock...Time Code?

Highlight the sync icon and press the yellow window button.

You should see all of your sync options.

For routing, you'll have to hit your midi button and take it from there.

I've the 003 and pt 8 also. Have done alot of research on this but still have some problems. would be great if when your up and running you could tell me how long the delay is before you press start on the 003 that the 4K starts playing. My sync is way out and I want to know if you get the same problem. Check my old posts. I put up some very specific info about the pro tools sync settings that should be easy to follow. Good luck

Did you figure out the sync issue? I got my setup running and it wont quantize on 1/16th note, I have to play my Motif in 1/8th note...

I dont know how I got everything to sync up I just **** around and pressed sync and it works.
