Hi, guys. I have a question about my 4000. I have Presonus Firestudio Mobile that I was trying to hook it up to to use with Cubase 5. I know I need 1/4" cables and I have these 2 at home that aren't being used:

I am wondering what is best to use? The instrument cable? I ask because the TRS cable sounds louder, which from my understanding, is because it has a stronger signal. I have my monitors in the main outputs of the firestudio and im running either of these cables from the main out of the mpc to outs 3/4 of the interface. I've read alot about instrument cables being low impedence and what not and I have tried to find the answer but some facts would be great. Thank you.

The TRS cable is balanced. That's the one you should be using to combat noise.
