Using Aksys on Mac 10.6 snow lepord

Do any 1 use Aksys with a mac 10.6... I can't seem to drag and drop my files like before on the previous os. I'm getting some kind of weird error code that forces the application to quit.

I'm considering buying an older cheap laptop just to dedicate to the MPC 4000 for Aksys.

Well I haven't tried using Aksys with Snow Leopard because my MacBook Pro was stolen before I had the chance.

The latest version of Aksys for Mac is V2.61, this is compatible with Mac OSX.

I'd hazard a guess and suggest that as Snow Leopard is designed to run on Intel-based Mac's only, it would be no surprise to discover that Aksys will not function as intended (if at all) on Apple's latest OS like many older OSX specific programs.

Cop a cheap Mac that runs OSX and be done with it.

ehm....i've just bought yesterday a new imac with os 10.6.7. to run ak.sys i had to install rosetta, but i got the same problem, i can't copy files into my mpc 4k.....help please

yeah but why downgrade my new imac? i'm new to mac...does ak.sys is the only way to put files (samples, drum kits) in the 4k's hard disk? hope you'll understand, i'm italian

Well Aksys is a cool tool, but you can easily get by on a 4000 without using it.

No computer required, remember...

I kind of got use to storing all my sounds and files on a computer. My laptop has 10.5 and that works flawlessly with aksys, it doesn't work on 10.6 that well. You can load sounds and files from the computer to the mpc but you can't go from the mpc back to the computer.
