anyone have this setup i have a dell insiron 1150 notebook and i cant get it configured right the mbox doesn't recive any sound or its not showing up in pro tools?

Not sure about your question. What I would advise is an external firewore HD. I tried the laptop thing several years ago. One thing I noticed was the hard drive was a bottle neck. Laptop drives usually have lower RPMs than the desktop versions.
