How to track out to Reaper using the 2 outs?

whatsup everybody? been a while since I posted here, been focusing on the music a lot. My question is simple, how do I track out my beats using the main outs? I've never tracked out before, actually never owned an audio interface. I just ordered a Presonus Firestudio Mobile and I plan on using it with reaper. Can anybody give me a step by step process of how to track out each different track I have on my MPC? thanks!

Make your squences in mpc like normal, separate each instrument sample to it's own track like you normally do.

Stereo samples will need main out left and right and need to be tracked out into reaper in one recording session.
Mono samples will to be tracked out hard left or hard right only.


ex.
kick trk 1 (mono -hard left) snar trk 2 (mono -hard right).
track into reaper using main outs. Makes 2 mono tracks in reaper, done.

ex.
Horn trk 3 + trk 4 (stereo -left+right).
track into reaper using main outs. Makes 1 stereo track in reaper. recorded waveform in reaper will show 2 waveforms, left and right.

In reaper you can assign which inputs can be routed to which tracks, you'll have to look into reaper and figure out where you want your routing. It's not hard at all you just gotta give a **** about it and go look.
Do you by chance have the adat optical card in your 4k?

So Lampdog,

Basically what your saying is that all Mono sounds can be tracked from either the Left or Right main out, it doesn't matter which one? I'm not really sure how to check whether each sound is Mono or Stereo in my MPC though?
