MPC 4000 Multi's and Keygroups

What exactly is a Keygroup? Does this coincide with a Multi...Ive seen these terms used around the site and Im trying to figure out how to apply these concepts into my workflow...Im reading the manual right now but I can find anything on Keygroups or what a Multi does...Im trying to expand my horizons with my 4000 and become a more advanced power user.

Now with a Multi I can select all my Programs and have them load when I turn on the MPC...I already do this by having the Programs already initialize when I turn on the MPC its like the low budget of using a Multi I guess? Basically I want to have 4 to 6 Drum Kits in a Multi and I guess that locks up the Programs into the Parts? But my MPC already does that I guess with the autoload feature...Im just reading the manual and looking around the site for new workflow ideas...Can someone chime in on how a Multi is used exactly? Im lost...
