working on a beat and one of my programs is stuck on full on level, meaning it will only trigger at 127 velocity, even though full level is swithed off. Can't find a setting that i might have changed accidentaly, the rest of my programs are still respondong to velocity.
Anyone know what the hell i've done?!?!?

My guess would be that the Note On Velocity >>> Amplitude
or Tilt Velocity >> Amplitude level in the Program Modulation Matrix is too high,
so that no matter what velocity you play at, the samples are always triggered at maximum amplitude (loudness).

Ah! Good guess then :) .... this used to drive me nuts back in 2002 when I first got my MPC4000!

There's actually only a single 'gain stage' in each voice on the sampler,
but about half a dozen different places where you can adjust it (all summed internally) - e.g. zone level, program level, part level, in the modulation matrix etc.

It is very easy to his a 'ceiling' like that and things wont get any louder.
