OS 1.71 Portamento feature

Does anyone know whether the Portamento feature was removed on OS 1.71. When I follow the instructions in the manual to get to turn the feature on, the option doesn't appear on the screen it's supposedly on?

It is definitely there. I can't remember right now b/c the machine is at home and I am at work. I recall having to use the window button.
It is also in Ak.sys.

You have to make sure it's a Keygroup program. Highlight the program in the program list screen and hit the "Misc" tab at the bottom of the screen. Portmhero should be in the midi section of that screen I believe.

That feature won't appear in a Drum program. Only Keygroup.

Ah, I thought I was trying with a key group but it must have been a drum program. Thanks for the help both of you.

No doubt. I remember I thought I lost the Piano Roll screen with the OS update in grid mode. All I saw was a drum grid. It was because I was in a drum program and not a Keygroup program.
